In both cases the victims were in places they shouldn't have been...in only one case did the victim actually attack though

i don't want to derail the thread anymore but i disagree about all the victimes being where they shouldn't have.
He may have been in shock afterwards. Who knows. What would your state of mind be after shooting intruders? Would you think clearly of what to do next?

Need to know the details. On one side you have a man killing intruders, which is fine. The other side you have the old man hiding the bodies, something he might do out of fear but it is still pretty sketchy.

Humor me with a little experiment if you will…
Close your eyes. You’re alone in your house…your castle. You worked hard to get to this spot. Roof over your head…TV…a bed…some books…other trinkets…some rubber batman figurines…stuff. Over the last few weeks, things have begun to turn up missing. Also, things seem to be moved around from how you remembered them. Now you’re watching TV. You hear a jar break down the hall. You grab your gun and go investigate. You see a couple of people running away down your hall…pants down to their knees. As on turns, a glint of gold flashes from their mouth. You raise your gun and fire. POW POW POW. Two bodies go down. As you approach, you have a sudden urge to have diarrhea. You pull down your pants and squirt all over the hall rug. You have to go change pants and clean up this mess. Later as you are finishing your TV show, you remember there are a couple of bodies in the hall. You go back and find one dead white boy and one white girl, barely breathing. You shoot her in the head and then dry hump her. Open your eyes. You were in the wrong house. Also, you are wearing panty hose filled with earthworms and spiders.

outside of him admitting to executing the girl, it seems like a case of self defense.
I guess no one can say for sure what they'd do in that situation--and if it was dark then he had no way of knowing how innocuous the intruders really were (teenage girl, boy). That being said, I can safely assume that once I shot the intruders and saw who they were, I would probably call the police rather than go the execution and body-snatching route.
