Who in here wouldn't inject themselves with a substance that probably won't cause any long-term harm yet gives you a chance to become a millionaire and a celebrity for life?
How about you ask Lance Armstrong? I hope he gets sued over and over and over again for fraud, has to pay back every penny he ever earned + interest, and ends up des ute. I'd hope the same for any other sportsman who uses PEDs.

They are a disgrace to their respective sports, bad role models and cheats, stealing glory from honest athletes.

The worst part about any drugs in basketball is that the most talented players don't need to take them. As others have said, basketball tests so many skills which can't be helped by taking drugs. HGH can't turn you in to a better jump shooter or give you better post moves.

Hypothetically if Lebron tested positive it would be a shame, because he has the talent to be a superstar without cheating.

agree, and it doesn't even help improve one's athleticism in most cases. s just use these s to grow fake muscles and to look swole, but it won't give them any extra speed or vertical jump tbh

And that German blood doping that Kirby does every year is SO legit, right?

Im not sure about the testing in nba, but mlb and nfl is a joke - they want players to take them. 4 game suspension in nfl and testing only in the preseason in baseball. Most other places in the world you get 2 years the first time and lifetime ban the second. If they actually gave a about it and less about the money theyd do the same in the states.

s will neither give you any actual help in performances nor would it improve your skills. but you do need them drugs to grow muscles and look tough so that you don't get bullied

If it doesn't harm them I don't care. I think probably around 10-20% use or have used.

In the past, PRP was banned entirely by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and it is currently off limits if the injection is aimed at a muscle (rather than a joint or tendon). But as of Jan. 1, the procedure will be entirely legal - and hugely popular among top athletes.
Julie Masse, a WADA spokeswoman, said the anti-doping agency eased restrictions on PRP because there is no evidence that the procedure enhances performance.

I'm pretty sure a majority of them use them. I don't really care. If it makes the sport more enjoyable, and the bigger names get to play at a high level for a longer period of time then that's fine with me.

I don't care really, it makes the players better and thus enhances the overall play from the league.

Can't wait til D-Wade gets busted though. Dat jawline

Who are the players, that without a doubt in your mind, are using PED's?

A good quote from an e-mail in Bill Simmons' latest column:

You talk about whether or not you'd take drugs if you were a pro athlete in our current situation. The answer is: If you were smart you would.
    The prisoner's dilemma explains why.
If you don't know what the person in the next cell is doing, then you pick the option that gives the smallest chance you get screwed. In our sports culture? Until I know the next guy isn't doping, I take the drugs and make sure I'm not going to get beat out for a job just because I'm not doping. Which means? We need to either eliminate the benefits of doping, or make sure everyone knows what everyone else is doing.
