He's a decent floor general and gets almost 7 assists per game. And he's young.
Dude runs point for them so it's moot anyway.
If this is a flopping or nut-punching ranking then no doubt he's #1, but since this is a ranking for the top10 pgs his ranking should still be high (#2 or 3) but Parker deserves #1

So your contention is that ... Klay Thompson is the Warriors' point guard?
Westbrook is too high on that list.
Derrick Rose made the list. He hasn't played all season.
By the way, I'm not sure how Westbrook would pass up Rose on this list. We're clearly going off of historical information and not "what have you done for me lately" if hes there at all.
Rose hasn't proven anything yet. He was once an MVP, but ACL injuries are about as severe a setback as possible in basketball. That's why I think it's funny that the article starts out "February was a very, very good month for the NBA’s deep crop of point guards." — only one of those 3 played in February. By that criteria, I guess Tony should be on the list. But there's no way the other two should even touch it right now. Seems like sports websites compile these lists about 10 times every season, so it would stand to reason that when a player is injured, they ought to be excluded.
Where would Beno Udrih fit on this list?
And when you make that list of active, healthy point guards, and then a week later one of them goes down for 3 months, should you delete the article? Rewrite the entire thing? Insert the backup into his place?
There is absolutely no point to excluding temporarily injured point guards into a list like this. The only exception would be for a career ending injury, and that definitely DID affect Rose's position on the list, because he was a unanimous top 2 before the injury.
What happened to Deron Williams this year? He's consistently been in the top 3 or 4 the past 5 years or so. He has dropped off considerably.
Turns out he was a Jerry Sloan system baby, then got fat after receiving a max contract.
Parker put him on skates both times the Spurs played the Nets.
Have you seen him play lately? Hes still a starting PG in this league for certain but he just looks so pedestrian so often now.
