I'm real concerned about my aunt, shes a diabetic and every time she has a cut on her leg or something im always overly cautious. I have diabetes and hypoglycemia in my family go figure.

There have been may times his patients have had to have vascular surgery or their leg cut off.
About them waiting too long. He had a patient page him last night. She was supposed to see him 6/9 and didn't show up (he gets a lot of that since most of his patients are elderly) and then contacts him because she's having problems. He sheduled her for next week, but who knows if she'll show up.

I hear you! I had a friend who's father ignored his diabetes for a long time (more like denial) and the same thing had happened with an amputation. With my own father being diabetic, I worry about him constantly.
With my own ankle & foot- good news. It seems like the swelling has come down a bit, or at least the 1/2 cast feels loose. Either way, it feels a lot better. I can't wait until Tuesday when I can see the specialist. I'm really hoping it's healed to the point where I can ditch the crutches and just limp around without having to have surgery on the ankle. Those things are a huge pain in the ass. Then I can drive myself around again.
