For the Suns Nash is 32 years old but he can't be over the hill because he's not a spurs player. Then he picks the Heat and Shaq is 34 years old but he can't be over the hill because of the same reason above.
Don't forget the conference effect; DET and MIA get their stats against a much weaker conference.
yea, the carter/kidd/jefferson trio is sick
but their not better than td/tp/manu.
When they're clicking, Duncan, Ginobili, and (ahem) Parker are the best trio by far.

Scoring doesn't impress me.
I want Parker in the 7.0-7.5 assist per game category.
The Spurs have enough scoring punch.
They need a consistent point guard to run the team, and not have to put your two-guard over there to pick up the slack.
In the Spurs offense it's hard for Parker to get those numbers.
On answering about why I picked the suns and heat. Their most important player is young. Stoudemire and Wade are the future and I don't expect Parker and Ginobili to be at that level to keep up after Duncan gets a little older.
