Why the do they keep running so much pick and roll with him is beyond me. He can't turn the corner, he can't keep the dribble alive, he gets his passes stolen 50% of the time. Just have him cutting to the basket, isolate him, post him a little and tell him to just stay the out trying the open three and creating on broken plays, that's it.

Look, this is one of those things that changes things forever. If the Spurs go on to lose this series, IMO, it changes the way people look at each other. It changes the way fans look at Manu, the way the team feels about him, Pop and everything else because of the way it's played out.

We should be proud. It's not over yet. But if they lose the series, this is one of those irrevocable things that alters trust unfortunately. The best analogy I can think of is infidelity. Relationships can overcome a great many things, but if you cheat, even if the other person wants to forgive you, you will forever view them differently.

All of you asshole taking shots at Manu calling him a "pussy" or a " got" are pathetic and a disgrace to Spurs fans. GTFO. Yeah his performance sucked tonight, BUT DON'T YOU DARE TAKE PERSONAL SHOTS AT THIS MAN.
Hard to respect someone that gives 100% effort for a bull scam FIBA tournament and not for the team that pays him his salary and for the fans that made him a star.

Manu could still be a valuable asset to a championship team, except he refuses to play within his physical limits. Duncan and Parker have adjusted there games as they have gotten older. Not Manu. He still tries to make plays like he's 25 and he just can't.

I don't understand how hard it is not to turn the ball over! They aren't forced turnovers either. They are forced passes that just aren't even necessary!

Against the heat you can't do that.

bad analogy. Infidelity can be overcome if the sinner is repentant. Sadly, Manu just keeps fuc-ing.....up. No repentance there.

Perhaps, but mostly it's impossible to overcome. What is done can't be done, ect...If you cheat, even if you are "forgiven", there is always an element of mistrust.
