Should the Spurs go on to lose in game 7 (which is very likely, though I hope not), Manu will have cost us the following a le (this year), and a shot at a repeat (2006's stupid foul on Dirk). Seriously, win or lose, he has got to retire next season. That or resign at a Goodwill-like price. And I'm not talking about the full price. I'm talking about the price where they sell stuff at bargain AND discount it by 50%.

As someone who has ripped Manu all playoffs, I can't help but put this on Pop now. It's like hiring a professor at Harvard who was born with down syndrome. Just don't do it don't play him.

He showed up last game which was great and unexpected but this is more on Pop for running him out there for 34 minutes despite 8 turnovers and only 9 points. It was the tiest finish I have seen to a game we should have won, Tony not in the game, Tim not in the game for rebounding, Manu running point a lot of the time...
This game is on Popovich, we expect this from Manu or at least we should, he has more games like this than he does Game 5. He's not coming back next season and that's probably for the best.

got is paid 14 million...is injury prone...and still puts his country as the number one priority over this team. Averages 20 ppg for Argentina when he should have been resting his body last summer like Tim.

At some point you just gotta realize he just doesn't have it anymore. As great as halted in game 5, did anyone watch the last 5 minutes of the game where he almost let the heat back in it by himself with stupid turnovers and fouls?
He may have an impact in game 7, but we wouldn't need a game seven if not for him either.
