Yes on the majority vote, but does this mean we're going to have to vote on every trade or will a complaint have to be lodged?

I must revisit FoxSports, but, yeah, we should have a vote only on trades with which there is an initial objection.

Something tells me he won't be available when I make my selection, but if I end up with the number 1 pick, he will be back with the Hooligans to follow up on his record setting (and first round playoff choking) performance. Thanks, Sports Illustrated.

I've finally decided to start thinking about fantasy football. I usually try to ignore it until August because once I start, I just sit around ranking and re-ranking my picks all day.

The rules I've read in this thread sound reasonable. I just tried to register my team with foxsports but the website wasn't responding once I got to a certain point in the process.

Tomorrow I'll try again and then give my opinion regarding these matters.

Let's review.

.08 points per TD (ETA - haha - I meant to say, 0.08 points per rushing/receiving yard), unless someone jumps in here and backs me up on 0.1.

Are the 2 FBG guys here? Speaking of FBG, did you check it out Dio? Information overload, eh?

Waivers? I'm on dial-up at home, so I really don't feel like sifting through all the FoxSports marketing at the moment, but assuming the league software supports it, I want typical worst team/first waiver priority rules to apply, and I want waivers to run once per week - on Tuesday evenings, after all the dust has settled. I feel VERY strongly about this. There's a nice chunk of money up for grabs, and I don't think someone should get an unfair competive advantage because they can be online at midnight on Sundays and Mondays.

Upon further review, I'm adamant about this. I won't have it any other way. Additionally, I will send everyone my cell phone number so that they can call in roster changes, waiver acquisitions, etc., in case they are unable to access the league site - but please, try to avoid doing such just mere minutes before a deadline

Speaking of reaching out and touching someone, I will set the draft order randomly within the net few days, using net-commish.com, unless someone speaks up with an objection. I assume FoxSports allows me to draft order manually (bear with me folks, I'm as new to Fox as you are).

I have email addresses for everyone, except your "other" uncle, Kris. I'll die laughing if his name is Darryl.

And this just in - AUGUST 20th draft date (4:00 CST) is set in stone! ... anyone who wants to change it will have to take it upon themselves to contact all 11 other league mates and get them to agree to a change. I want to keep everyone happy, but I will not go chasing my tail. If you cannot make the draft, please set your pre-rankings; better yet, arrange for someone to draft for you. I can easily find a FF geek who would love to draft you a kick-ass team for no obligation.

Too many numbers floating around in my head at the moment, BUT, 1 point per 30 yards passing works for me.

Rushing 2-point conversion: I thought I covered this; it = 2 points.

Ditto for fumbles: Lost fumble = (-2) points for QB, RB and WR.

Those points sound good to me. You may have covered the conversions previously but at the time I scanned the rules, I did not see that denoted. You have the email address. Can we get the draft order set today - Wednesday, July 27th?

** Rush/Rcv yards..I like 1 pt for every 10.

** Passing yds..I can go with the 30 yds = 1pt.

30-39 yard fg missed (-1)

Field Goals Made:
00-39 yards = 3 points
40-49 yards = 4 points
50-59 yards = 5 points
>> 60 yards = 6 points

I vote for 2 points for qb, wr, rb.

I vote for 8 points per 100 yards for wr and rb.

I'll await anymore feed back on the mfgs.

Also, there is only one setting for "all blocked kicks," whether it be a punt, FG or extra point. I'm penciling it in for 2 points for the defense on that.

That is rediculous for the mfgs. I vote for (-2), but I don't think that's fair for longer mfgs.

Since there does not seem to be alter interest besides the few in dicussion, I agree with the (-1) in so the settings can be finalized.
