Gary Neal wasn't the worst athlete at his combine. Gary Neal looks like ing Bowen compared to this kid. He has no burst or lateral movement. It's like he's mired in molasses. Even if they teach him the fundamentals and he gives 100% on every possession for the whole season, he's still going to be a bad defender because he doesn't have the physical tools.
Im not saying Thomas cant get spot, I think he could, but kmon!! Dont forget what Neal has done for the Spurs. Im talking scoring in the Finals.
Only 15 times in the history of the finals someone score 6 or more 3 pointers at 60%+.

I'm a big James Anderson fan, but this guy shot 33% from 3 in 10 minutes a game for Houston last year. He always had surprising athleticism before his injury, but I just don't see him having that aspect in his game anymore.
If anything, I bet DeShaun Thomas has a little bit of James Anderson in his game.
