Lazy troll is lazy. Trolls were so much more effective back when the Spurs/Mavs rivalry was at it height. Pretending to be a Spur fan and making some thread like "hey gaiz! lets go get reggie miller!" is weak, weak sauce.
I think it's hilarious how people keep getting baited even with the OP putting up so little effort. It's like fish just jumping into your boat.

Man, did Chris Webber go down hill the last couple years of his career. It's amazing how Duncan has been able to maintain a high level of play while other greats really played their way out of the league at a younger age.

Baynes never saw the floor, and Diaw is a point-guard/sf hybrid. We need a bruiser like Jordan had in Charles Oakley or Ewing had in Larry Johnson. We lost Stephen Jackson and Bruce Bowen -- the toughness we needed to get past teams like Dallas, Phoenix, and Detroit.
Webber was not tough so what is your point here? Bruiser? You make some of the dumbest threads man. Seriously what is your point?

So you're saying if Chris Webber, a guy who can score (both inside and outside), rebound, and pass, came out and said he was interested in coming out of retirement, you wouldn't at least work him out and see what he has left?

Name me one other big that had the inside and outside ability like Webber. I think of Dirk, but he wasn't nearly the same player inside like Webber and he wasn't nearly as good of a passer.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what we're saying.

Yes he could do that! About 7 or so years ago!

Please pink this guy already. No need for him to start anymore threads.

Are we going to have some sort of standard here in the main forum, or are we going to let trolls start posting rubbish here too.

If we had to bring some old dude back, I'd consider McDyess.

What the are you even implying?

Kareem played into his 40s. Hakeem and Shaq played until they were 39. We see guys coming back from retirement all the time (see recently, Iverson, Rasheed Wallace, and even the great Michael Jordan).

And like I mentioned previously, we even had a guy named Kevin Willis on our squad not too long ago -- and that's the role I think Webber would fill, nothing more and of obviously nothing less.

All I'm saying is that if Webber contemplating coming out of retirement (and we know how much his first ring would mean to him), we should at least do our due diligence and at least give him a work out or invite him to camp. At the veterans minimum, what's the downside of potentially picking up a 6'10" guy who could score inside and outside, pass, and rebound?

I think Webber could give us 15 good minutes on the bench every night. As an assistant coach.

The thing is he can't do that stuff anymore and could hardly do it in his last year in the league a few years back. He is not in good shape.

Hypothetically, no. He couldn't come back from his injury at 35. He can't come back from it at 40.
