a lakerfan comparing lebrons all defensive vs kobe...lol everyone knows kobe all defensive honors are questionable...
Still no significant reply to the above. Especially the blue area.![]()
Hands down, man down.
dude just be realistic. melo is cancer. he has done nothing of note in the playoffs. lebron taking 07 cavs to finals >>>> anything melon could ever dream of.
You're kidding yourself if you think Kobe is even in the ball park of Lebron. The game is becoming more and more effortless for Lebron. One thing i've noticed about Kobe is that he's always had to work real hard to make an impact (except the 2008 & the 2009 season, he looked real comfortable during those two years). He trusted his teammates and his shot selection was much better.
Thinking Kobe taught a thing or two (especially defense) to Lebron? Son that's called flattery. BTW Lebron was already the better player by 2008.
Agree, I thought Kobe had changed for good back then. Sad to see him start chucking like a ing maniac ever since the lockout.
If LeBron learned his defense from Kobe, we'd see him "conserving energy for offense" a lot more
Unlike Kobe, Lebron didn't counterfeit another player's Jumper or a fadeaway or even a post game speech.
Did LeBron have ANY all defensive honors before the 2008 Olympics or not? I even posted a link that backs up my claim. And since i I know you are either going to dismiss my truth bomb orit, I'm gonna be preemptive: -100 points son. SMH
Kobe was 1st team all defense by his 4th year (this after him inexcusably sitting behind Eddie Jones for two straight years). So I'd say he was able to teach LeBron a thing or too about defense. He was more than qualified.![]()
Naw. Even Phil said Kobe wasn't great on defense.
True or false? Pippen was a better defender than MJ.
Why do you deflect so much?![]()
USA wasn't a world power prior to WWII. Is it coincidence that USA learned to become a world power because they learned from the Nazis?
The reason you had no response earlier is because of how stupid it was.
Pippen was the better defender by 1991. MJ however was the more decorated defensive player because he was always guarding the other team's best player and also because Pippen was too busy getting punked by Rodman and the Pistons.
thats some ty logic. maybe it was tashuan prince that inspired LeBron to play defense. he was on the 08 olympic team. maybe it was dwert. your assertion that "oh they were 2 of the 12 players on the same team so therefore it MUST have been kirby to teach him" is re ed. maybe it was coach K... re ed assumption leading to a re ed conclusion
we also know darn well that kobe got a lot of fantom all-defense nominations later in his career. while kirby was actually a good defender during the shaq era (probably because offense didn't require as much energy while shaq was getting tripled), his defense faded afterwards. he still got fantom nominations as late as 2012
Yet you and your fat fingers typed up a response anyway. Says a lot about you tbh.![]()
OK, I'm woke now... Fact: LBJ received no all defensive honors prior to the Olympics. Fact: LeBron lead the Cavs to be 7x losers. Fact: LeBronze earned his nickname in '04. Fact: Kobe has no bronze medals. Fact: Kobe was on the 1st team by his 22nd birthday and remained there for 7 years - prior to the '08 Olympics. Fact: Coach K was quoted as saying Kobe set the tone during their first practice in '08.
So it is reasonable for me make the correct Scientific assumption that Kobe showed LeBron how to win. Fact is, before the '08 Olympics - for which Kobe, was already a 3x NBA champion who just so happened to have 7 all defensive nominations too - indeed taught LeBron that defense wins championships. LBJ got another Finals beat down (on a stacked team I might add) by _irk since then, but afterwards he hasn't loss since. He can thank Kobe for that tbh.![]()
I'd say Pip was a better defender by '89. He just wasn't good enough offensively to help MJ get past the Bad Boys that year.
FIFY. Good thing the people who actually vote for these awards are not Laker hating Southwest Texas farmers, huh?![]()
i don't live in texas. i actually live in LA so i watch essentially all laker/clipper games as well. teams with quick backcourts have given the lakers fits for years because both kirby and fisher would get smoked. whatever, i don't expect good takes from a be@ner kobestan anyway
Don't matter where you're at. You're a Spur Fan? Then by natural law you are a farmer.
@ you still thinking I'm Hispanic. I'm a smart dude. I took Spanish in Middle and High School quite sometime ago. Because someone can speak Spanish, that means they're Hispanic. No ¿muy brillante, ¿verdad?
