    Melo is gonna find out real soon that he doesn't have a chance in NY let alone the East...I expect the Nets winning to likely discourage him and cause him to realize that between Nets, Chicago, Miami, and Indiana there's just too much fire power for the Knicks to legitimately compete...his only real chance is to team up with Kobe and Rondo in the West...

    doesn't sound like a good deal to them lakers imho. knows how much the little gy stat-padder Rondo still has after the injury and Pau's departure would leave them with no legit player in the paint, not to say Rondo has little to provide in the mid-long range which's what the Lakers need most. And you must be fooling yourself if you think Kobe will re-sign with the lakers for 20m/yr or less just to make room for the team to sign another Max player or something from the FA market.

    Truth Bomb. The pecking order in the EC does not include the Knicks even being in the top 4. He'll leave for collusive reasons like LBJ and KG did when they realized they weren't alpha enough to lead their own teams past the big boys.
