Being a Spurs fan does not cons ute believing that every Argentine basketball player is a certain superstar in the NBA.

An NBA superstar, probably only one
NBA starters, probably 3 or 4
NBA players, probably not more than 10
But in the Argentina league, every team have 2 americans as starters

Probably one national Team can beat the USA, but the Americans have 150 of the best 200 players from all over the world

The NBA can make 10 dream teams of 12 great players, and Argentina only one

To me dream team there was only 1, the original. After that, US went from almost dream teams to sad immitations.

C-Mon "Manu Mob" just enjoy the news and don´t let any bitter people ruin the moment...

Herrmann is good enough to earn several minutes and also will play in an under-construction team. Maybe he can become a starter...

    Fall from Greece
    by Steve Kerr, Yahoo! Sports

    August 28, 2004

As I watched Team USA lose to Argentina in the Olympic semifinals on Friday, one thought continually recurred in my mind: This was no upset.

    [snip]

But the American game has deteriorated to the point where players are holding the ball for three or four seconds, over dribbling, dumping the ball into the post and not moving or setting screens. That is what Team USA did, and the lack of offensive continuity was glaring.
Thanks goes to the the black asphalt of Harlem and other "playgrounds" in Amerika.

Thank heavens Pop and the Spurs Mgmt had the foresight of "get over yourself" and putting team basketball first. The rest of the NBA could be years behind us.
