There is no need to make pessimist threads when we are on a good streak and the team is playing very decent ball, those teams you named choked big time too.
if you don't have any faith in the team then why don't you abandon ship you ing pussy?
without harden, okc looks vulnerable.
especially with westbrook showing glimpses of mortality

There are 3 guys on the Thunder who really hurt the spurs consistently: Ibaka, Durant, and Westbrook (obviously).
But the spurs have an Ibaka stopper, in theory. His name is Boris Diaw. Diaw has been a nightmare for jumpshooting PFs recently — Kevin Love, Dirk, etc.
I'm okay with letting Durant and westbrook get theirs. The key to stopping a fully-stocked and healthy Thunder team is to shut down Ibaka and make Durant at least work harder for what he's getting.
The Thunder kept Ibaka and gave away Harden.
End of story.
Yeah I honestly think their bench will fold in the playoffs. Too inexperienced.
The spurs' problem when playing OKC is that they dnt let KD and Durant get theirs while shutting everyone else down. They let guys like Reggie Jackson and Derek ing fisher go off on us. The spurs specifically like to bring help everytime KD or Westbrook look at the rim which in turn leave their other guys to burn us like always!! It's really frustrating man. By the time pop wants to adjust that gameplay their "scrubs" already have the confidence of shooting it at a high clip.
Long ways to go before 7 game series with OKC are a possibility. If it were next week, I like our chances.
Benches are overrated in the playoffs, especially for a young team like OKC, KD and Russ can play 40 minutes a game if need be. Not to mention Reggie Jackson turns into AI against us.
I'm thinking we should start Diaw alongside Duncan if this series happens. Diaw has been doing great all season, and his presence will make anyone guard Diaw on the offensive side. The Spurs might suffer on the defensive end without Splitter, but they can afford to considering how offensively inept Perkins is. Diaw will help out Duncan and Parker as primary creators in the starting unit. Ginobili, Splitter, and Marco would terrorize OKC's second unit. I'm not sure why the OP is so worried about this team considering OKC isn't even sure if Westbrook would come back 100 percent after his third operation in his knee. For all we know, Westbrook might just be done when he comes back.
I've watched some OKC home games and they can be underwhelming, especially without Harden and Westbrook iffy. sure they have more athleticism but our depth and chemistry blows theirs away. Give us some good health, fair officiating and maybe a trade, in that order, and we can hang with them.
reggie jackson seems to go off against us, giving us the perception that they will overwhelm us, but then he'll have pedestrian games right afterwards. law of averages say he will have some less than terrific nights against us
Reggie has something to prove against the Spurs. Who primarily defended him these past reg season games?
OKC beat us the last four games running one play: Harden at the arc in the triple threat position, feeding a KD/Westbrick pick and roll. They can't run that play anymore.
Meh, OKC is not that great. They have flaws too, you know.
2012 Thunder >>> 2014 Thunder. So yeah we have a chance.
No one's concerned about the fact that the Spurs are 2-4 against the post-Harden Thunder? I know those are regular season games, but they haven't met in the playoffs so that's the only measuring stick we have.
not worried at all. Outside of Reggie (who is a tosb btw) who else do they have to score not named Westbrook or Durant. As mentioned above, Diaw can shut down Ibaka. Tbh if we meet in the playoffs we take them in five.
I don't think you guys understand how much this team is going to want it once the playoffs start.
Don't know how fans can have such confidence when the Spurs haven't beaten one decent team all season long. Reggie Jackson killed us the last two games while Durant barely lifted a finger. They cannot stay in front of quick PGs.
We're done, pack it up and try to compete for the draft, we may as well just give up now ol' sports
"they" or parker? cuz when curry had danny green switched to him in the playoffs last year, he was contained.
These threads. SMH.
The bearded man is in Houston now so I'm not scared of OKC, especially if Westbrook keeps breaking down.
Houston and Portland scare me more, but the Heat will always be our #1 challenge, as is the same for every other contender in the league.
We beat the Warriors without the big three
LOL, so we fear... Reggie Jackson??? LOLYeah, throw in the towel now!
