I admit, I was expecting a little more confetti....a little more champagne......a little more jumping up and down......a little more piling on each other.......maybe some French rapping.

I'm cool with it if they are, but it felt more like they all were just unwinding instead of really celebrating.

    Maybe they're just old.
I was hoping the confetti would fall and have Lebron have the same feeling TD had as he was walking off the court.

was a bit subdued but San Antonio is le town so they expect theses things.

I'm quite pleased Spurs spared me that kind of stuff tbh

Bosh, whether intentional or not he looks suspect all the time.

PATFO can't pay for their A/C, can't pay for shirts every playoffs game, can't get any good halftime shows, paid $20 for a horrible little Mariachi to sing the anthem...

You think they'll spend money on Champagne and confetti?

YES! I was underwhelmed, I expected a stripper pole and some hunny's dancing to Dr. Feelgood, instead we get emotion, agilation and passion. WTF?

Oh and cowbell would've been good too.

I think it comes with the fact that the Spurs had a 15+ point lead throughout the end of the game. Lebron and Wade going to the bench in the 4th was pretty much Miami's way of waving the white flag.

You can't compare the excitement of becoming champions on a buzzer beater and becoming champions after minutes of waiting for the game to finally end. Therefore less jumping around and piling on each other. On the other hand we got treated to standing ovations for players who were being subbed out, and a lot of emotional hugs and smiles on the bench in the waning minutes of the game.
    This.

Most of the second half was one big celebration. People can't keep up that sort of frenzy forever. Also, this championship seemed equal parts relief and excitement.

Which brings me to another point: in games the PA announcer is always trying to get the crowd to stand up and make noise before the ball gets put into play, but the noise almost always peters out before the ball gets inbounded. Why waste the crowd's energy like that?

Always someone that thinks they didn't celebrate hard enough...I actually thought it was perfect. You could tell it was very emotional and at the same time they looked very humbled by the last 2 years. Perfect ending imo.

It's kinda ironic that I have been craving for the Spurs to get even an ounce of media attention, but now it's almost overwhelming and I can't keep up with it all!

Every guy on this team is more or less lowkey and contained, if not reserved. They are all quiet, simple vets. Their version of partying is a kickback with everybody over to the house. The only one with any likelihood to go nuts and really "turn up" is Danny Green and he's turning into a real Spur...probably not all about being rowdy either.

What did you expect from a bunch of laid-back old souls?
