Didn't notice... I was too busy celebrating myself lol.
I admit, I was expecting a little more confetti....a little more champagne......a little more jumping up and down......a little more piling on each other.......maybe some French rapping.
I'm cool with it if they are, but it felt more like they all were just unwinding instead of really celebrating.
Maybe they're just old.

Job done. See ya next season.

This lol
Act like you've been there mentality, tbh.
French rapping will occur at 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the Alamodome, not to be confused with the French Raping going on at 11:45 PM in TP's hotel room.
I watched the replay again already lol
David Lee would have celebrated better, tbh..
Always someone that thinks they didn't celebrate hard enough...I actually thought it was perfect. You could tell it was very emotional and at the same time they looked very humbled by the last 2 years. Perfect ending imo.
They are also all very old so they probably were tired and sleepy
No way. Diaw is a premier celebrator that spreads the dance floor.
What? Just what? Every media analyst was and still is creaming over the Spurs. The confetti was great, the emotion, the songs...nah man, it was great.
No need to be alarmed, Tony retired his French rapper shtick a few years ago.
who am I to tell them how to celebrate. I guess I'm a little bit surprised is all.
It's kinda ironic that I have been craving for the Spurs to get even an ounce of media attention, but now it's almost overwhelming and I can't keep up with it all!
Maybe more confetti.
Bring the mariachi kid back out to sing "Is That All There Is?"
I thought 2007 was the weakest out of all, imo. The euphoria in this was great, but like some stated I wish there was more confetti.
Sebastian has been banned from the AT&T Center until he's 21.
Can you imagine what this series would have been like with Indiana. TBH, Indiana has gotten so bad on offense, they are unwatchable. And their defense is "great" against Eastern Conference Teams except Atlanta, Washington, and Miami? Not only would every game have been a blow out, but the commissioner probably wouldn't have attended game 4; he would have just sent a letter congratulating the Spurs.
I think it comes with the fact that the Spurs had a 15+ point lead throughout the end of the game. Lebron and Wade going to the bench in the 4th was pretty much Miami's way of waving the white flag.
You can't compare the excitement of becoming champions on a buzzer beater and becoming champions after minutes of waiting for the game to finally end. Therefore less jumping around and piling on each other. On the other hand we got treated to standing ovations for players who were being subbed out, and a lot of emotional hugs and smiles on the bench in the waning minutes of the game.
I'm sure they got live back in the lockeroom.
TBH not having all the confetti like in 2005 made it feel a bit more bland but I was so happy and ed up I didn't really notice. Once I heard "We Are the Champions" playing I lost it.
Tbh, I had to make sure what was happening was real. Maybe everyone in the arena felt the same.
I'm quite pleased Spurs spared me that kind of stuff tbh
