You can kill James for being such a got against Dallas and for disappearing for long stretches this Finals, but 2007 ain't on him.
No, we can kill him for being a choking got in 2007, 2011, part of 2013* and all of 2014 Finals where he out up the most empty stats ever.

damn, are the Celtics that cooked? to the point where you need to come on a spurs forum to vent about a cav/heat player?

or is this just Bird-LeBron inferiority complex stuff?

His team did defeat a very formidable and capable team in the Pistons, the only other team in the East that was a conference le contender.

The go to pity excuse for Lebron nut-slurpers is that he didn't have a team surrounding him to compete with the Spurs when they back door swept a perennial Eastern Conference contender in the Pistons in shocking fashion.
He basically did it single handed tbh. That late game performance was one of the best you'll ever see.

LeBron now being blamed for scoring 28 points in a row vs a good defensive team to make the Finals.

And why are people obsessed with NBA Finals records tbh? Almost as if it's better to not make the playoffs/lose earlier in playoffs than to loses in the Finals

"LeBron is now 2-3 in the finals!"

As if it's better to be 2-0 in the same span. Devoid of logic.

Yeah he disappeared from that series, but to me it isn't because it was the Finals - Mavs had the best gameplan to neutralize him and he couldn't adapt. Superstars have disappeared in earlier rounds and during the regular season (lol missing the playoffs entirely).

That's been the mantra here from the Dales and Cedrics of the forum. KillaKobe81 even said he'd rather be a lottery team than lose a close one in the Finals. They pretend there are only 2 NBA teams after June and one of them lost. The truth is 29 of them lost, but 2 of them made it to the great show. Pretending there's shame in losing there is hilarious considering that 28 other teams never got there to begin with.

Not really. You'd be a ing idiot to think 2007 Lebron was at fault for losing in the Finals. He carried that ty team past a better team but that only goes so far.

But, he did pitch a fit & quit. He started to quit in these Finals, but, the Spurs didn't give him a chance. Before he knew it-it was time to go home.
