    There's still a lot to be learned from TP, Duncan and Manu in terms of leadership, so I think this is great for Patty.

    He maybe could've gone and started for another team - but this puts him in a good position to be successful, develop his game further and possibly take over the primary PG role in a couple of years.

    I doubt it. He has tremendous worth ethic and an underrated athlete, I mean, he played through an injury but still poured the 3's.
