It's February 15th, 2015. The Lakers enter the all-star break with a 22-33 record. Kobe is once again voted to start for the West, along with Rin.

In his media availability, Mike Trudell asks the obvious: "Kobe, your team has no chance of making the playoffs and close to no chance to keeping your 1st round pick. The season seems to be not just lost, but completely irrelevant like the Laker franchise has never experienced in their storied history. Other than chasing Jordan in total regular season points, what is your goal for the 2nd half of the season?"

He will pass Jordan in scoring, that's his first goal. If healthy, he will hang on to try and catch Jabbar. It should be fairly pitiful to watch, in a pleasing sort of way. Because that's who he is.
