You're telling me man...I win the Best Named Team almost every year. I should be a 3-time champion but haven't had the luck since 2007 and its been frustrating. So close but yet so far! I've made the semifinals 5 times and have gone 3-2. I should be grateful that I get some money for the times I lose in the le game but it is never enough lol especially with how much I spend watching these games and bar tabs...etc..etc..

I can't watch games in bars, especially Seahawks game. I feel like hitting people so I try to avoid it . I just follow at home unless somebody really wants to get drunk and have bar food. We play to win, and when I put up the cash I assume it's gone no matter what even though I place well. So, I can't be grateful, as I hate to lose more than I like to win.

I feel you on that one. There is one bar that is a Seahawk friendly one open by ex-pats from Washington. I go there mainly because they have a great line-up of the craft beers that WA brews and they're some of my personal favorites. They are also really cool in bringing in the NorCal stalwarts like Russian River and whatnot. My girl likes the salmon fish and chips they make in the style of Seattle so she is always game to meet me in the morning. She doesn't like it when I get all volatile about the Hawks or my FF team, so it helps to have her around. She drinks very little so I also get my own DD most Sundays. Man, we need to bounce back this weekend. It is my birthday on Sept. 21st so if they do well I'll consider that the best gift I could receive.
