I think so, but seeing Lawrence of Arabia in stretch 70 at the IMAX was one of my most memorable cinematic experiences. I plan on seeing it at the Paramount later ths week.
I just saw Bridge on the River Kwai for the first time yesterday on TMC. I always wish I had seen movies like that when they first opened so I could have that sense of context/timing, but it was still a pretty amazing movie.
How can anyone possibly hate this movie?
If you can sit down in a recliner, have surround sound and watch this movie with the volume up high, it should be one of the greater movie experiences of your life
Definitely should check out its sequel directed by Peter Hyams.
