Tbh Iverson or Tmac or any number of SGs could have been in Kirbys position and have 5 rings. Bigs win rings. Facilitators follow them. Volume shooters are in a distinct 3rd. The sociopathic rapist is a lucky opportunist. Iverson was a more rounded player, just never had the bigs to coattail

    Iverson >>>> Kobe

But Kobe is def top 50

And it only took a move to the best team in the weak ass east and a system designed to hide his flaws. He will finally get his playoff win without Kobe. Props.
    2010 NBA Finals, game 7

    Kobe goes 6/24

Gasol bails him out and carries the team to a game 7 win

Gasol averaged 15, 10, and 3apg on 53% shooting in the Finals. It's kind of hard as a second option to have a big scoring game when you're playing with guy who took twice as many shots as you. On the defensive side, KG shot .429 for the series.

Pau held his end up in the Finals. Maybe if Kirby didn't let himself get outplayed by both Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, the Lakers are sitting on 17 right now.

Please. KG gave Pau FITS in 2008.

What's your excuse for Dirk in 2011?

Oh, and -10 points for coming to the defense of your alt Clipper Nation account.

I'm probably one of the few here who always believed Pau was legit still. I'd take him in SA any day. Imagine having both Gasols, no whining, just basketball.

Can't help but to believe that the breakout year by Jimmy Butler is primarily due to playing with an all-star big and one of the best teammates in the game, Pau just makes everyone around him better. Real shame he didn't choose to come to SA

Happy for Pau. He has a chance to win and to play with a legit contender. Crazy taht Lakers could not get a first round pick for him, at the deadline last year. Very under valued by GM's Laker fans etc.

Dont see why anyone even Kobe-first fans shouldn't be happy for Pau.

Spurs should have gone harder at Pau. I always been sold by the big white fundamental IMO
