    Barry at three-years, $16M or Devin at three-year, $4.5M?

You have to go with Devin.

    Holt would agree.
    I buy this.

Not too many "Injury Issues" to worry about from the past when you are getting 12-18 min a game...(A likely NVE scenario)...BUT, Devin has some injury issues too come to think of it (reference the end of the 04-05 campaign)
Spurs is the team who know the best the health status of Devin. If they sign him, it means that his back injury is not a great issue.

If we can get Pietrus for Barry i say all the way Brown.

Brown salary might be 1,5 millons this season.
    Pietrus salary - 1,9 millons.
Together Pietrus and Brown would make 3,4 millons which is 1,5 under what Barry makes.

With that difference we could even sign a great player with the LLE. We could afford Barnes and someone else for the future, like Morris.

With this conditions i don't see how Barry can be better.

Now that we have finley we don't need him and Van Exel can also play minutes at sg.

Moreover, Pietrus could even be better than Barry, lol.
Van Exel at shooting guard? No.

    Keep Barry.

The only thing that makes me pick Brown is the fact that he will come cheaper. They can probably gain something from trading Barry, a draft pick and/or some young talent. If they lose Brown, they get nothing for losing him. Plus, he is younger and, IMO, he is better defensively.
