I prefer Barry over Brown any day...
sorry Brown lovers, Barry is just too good for me to let him go for someone more athletic.
Brown
Barry
None
Up to this point it seems it will all end in either Barry or Brown. If we keep Barry we won't get much for Brown and if we trade Barry for cheap contracts we will probably be able to re-sign Brown and get some good players.

but if we trade Barry we would also get more cap and some good player in exchange.
i cant see how anyone could vote for barry
barry and brown is a very tough decision
barry and finley is not
i heard on WOAI that we can still get brown..
It's a win-win, I like them both.
I'm kind of rooting for Brown to get more minutes for himself though.
Barry at three-years, $16M or Devin at three-year, $4.5M?
You have to go with Devin.
Holt would agree.
The thing is: Will Brown take only 4.5 million?
If that's what a healthy Maurice Evans got, then yeah.
Believe me, if Devin had an offer on the table he wouldn't be waiting around right now.
Good point.
Besides Brown is much younger. I say Brown all the time.
timvp you like to base your takes on what holt would do but what do YOU THINK
i mean, not looking at financial standpoint barry or brown

As I've said elsewhere, not touching the team is the best basketball move. They have 12 solid players right now who want to win. That'd be the scenario I'd want to see happen.
But I've been long trained to think like Pop and Holt. Going off of that training, I see Barry, Rasho and Beno on the trading block.
ok thats all i wanted to know
i agree with you, i think this team is set, strong, willing, able, and ing LETHAL
i also see rasho and beno on the block but i guess after barry won my heart in the finals i can't see him on the block with them
btw, i'm very interested in seeing the results of this poll if it were public
Barry definitly. I like to think he earnt a second season with his ballsy play in the finals against a killer detroit press.
Barry = quick step off the baseline, gets others involved, hits the tre, more experience, more leadership
Brown - deserves to play more for another team. He rarely gets in here, and now he reeally does not "fit".
I Love em both, but we gotta do what is best for all.. BYE BYE ROADRUNNER!!! We Love Ya
I've voted for Brown.
Barry is too expensive for a 4th swingman as Rasho is too expensive for a backup center.
A trade Barry and Nesterovic for expiring garbage could be good for Spurs.
I'd like Spurs keep Beno, NVE has some injury issues and Beno could play SG and is cheap.
With NVE and finley on the bench Spurs need fresh legs.
Not too many "Injury Issues" to worry about from the past when you are getting 12-18 min a game...(A likely NVE scenario)...BUT, Devin has some injury issues too come to think of it (reference the end of the 04-05 campaign)
If we can get Pietrus for Barry i say all the way Brown.
Brown salary might be 1,5 millons this season.
Pietrus salary - 1,9 millons.
Together Pietrus and Brown would make 3,4 millons which is 1,5 under what Barry makes.
With that difference we could even sign a great player with the LLE. We could afford Barnes and someone else for the future, like Morris.
With this conditions i don't see how Barry can be better.
Now that we have finley we don't need him and Van Exel can also play minutes at sg.
Moreover, Pietrus could even be better than Barry, lol.
