Golden State was always very beatable by Spurs and Memphis. Everyone else? Not so sure.

The Bulls if healthy were also defensively sound enough to beat them as well. Spurs and Bulls were the only two teams to beat them on their home floor.
Parker was the best player on the court that day. Led the team in points and assists. Too bad no one besides Duncan was there to help.

The Rockets would have been a for us. You know Harden would have gone for 40+ and 20+ FTs every game, plus some bull buzzer beater prayer at some point in the series.
You really exaggerate how much Harden goes off on the Spurs. He's looking more and more like a playoff choker. He's been Re 's in this series. I'm sure Wing Stop would have owned him, tbh.
Well, you're looking at these teams with the 2012-2014 Spurs in mind.
Truth is, this year version of the Spurs didn't play at a high enough level for most of the season due to injuries, motivation, whatever.
Just don't get how people were so sold on the Warriors.
Honestly, the Spurs were the only team I believed were a team composed of the typical championship-type of make-up.
Someone's going to win it, obviously. But the league just isn't that good in comparison to the elite teams of past.
A lot of good teams, even teams. After that, it's - which makes this year all the more frustrating.
Just wasn't the Spurs' year. Disappointing, especially with how Tim played. He deserved better.
Makes me hate Tony even more tbh
Why you all just now find it out??? You really didn't know the moment we lose game 7 that Pop waste the easiest oportonity for a le we ever had??? So devestating to give away for free another le and to ruin Tim last chance!!!
You didn't want to listen to me when I was saying this from the start, At least you all stop lying to yourself, better late than never...
Funny how only now you all starting to face reality...
Oh for Gods sakes would you stfu already about missed opportunities and losses man? It happens, some teams have 0 les and would die for one. I wonder if even after last year you were even happy when they won it all or if you were just thinking of years lost and watching old games where they lost in spite of the le run. You are more negative about the sport than the players are, they are out drinking and you are at home saying you will kill yourself over a loss and dwelling on all the bad times the team had. You take losses worse than any player it seems.
Fake ass superstar Leonard is to blame.
Spurs would've lost at some point, imho. We didn't look right, and lacked the hunger/desire to win it all this year. Plus, Tiago and Parker weren't healthy. I think that would've eventually ruined us (Parker would've been destroyed by other West PG's regardless, tbh, and eventually Kyrie).
I just keeping it real, To loss a le on one play once again is not an easy loss and not somthing you can get over if you a real fan, not like you, And yes, For sure i take the losses worse than the players, cause it's much more important to me and also i more mentally weak
The Spurs would humiliate the Rockets. Forget the Hack-a-strategy on DHo or J. Smith the Rockets don't play inspired ball and make too many silly mistakes. They're lucky the Clippers aren't going for a sweep today despite only having CP3 one game.
It is possible (even likely) that two of the best three teams met in the first round. As you say, we had a great opportunity. Our series with the Clips, could have gone either way. It was a coin flip. But its over now. Mighty Casey has struck out...
We would have beat the Rockets then would have beat the Warriors but would have lost to Memphis. Even though we match up well with Memphis and have beat them in the past I think this is they're year to take the leap.
