I never understood the appeal of Tupac, tbh. His beats were consistently lame, his delivery/cadence was like nails on a chalkboard, and his militant political schtick was ripped off from Public Enemy (who did it better). He was still a million times better than that got Drake, but that's a pretty low bar. Still, I don't see how people could listen to Rakim, Big L, prime Nas, Wu-Tang, etc. and still rank Tupac as the greatest of his generation, let alone all-time.
