Christie looks like someone you'd read about in a Michael Lewis book for the way he would berate interns and make them go on 7 cheeseburger runs everyday because he wanted to be considered the biggest asshole in the fixed income department at Solomon Brothers. He does nothing to appeal to rust belt voters in battleground states.

Gingrich meanwhile isn't considered an establishment shill but is credible enough to not be considered a loon. He's also an expert at condescendingly getting under people's skin the way Trump is
I am still shocked by the servile way Christie gave in to Trump after Trump clinched it. Lost any respect for him at that press conference, dude did everything but walk around with his tail bebween his legs whining.

Christie has never been more than the run-of-the-mill who cares more about advancing his political career and advocating for any ideals, so idk why you'd expect anything different. I lost a lot more respect for him going the Rudy Giuliani rout during the primary and trotting out the fact he happened to be a NY politician during 9/11 as if that gave him some magical experience.

Scalia would be proud of her.

The guy who commented to the press that enemy combatants had no rights exactly BEFORE the SC took the case up, yep, Scalia. I think this might be why they liked each other so much. Scalia shot his mouth off constantly. Ginsburg taking a huge step probably would have pleased him because I would be willing to make a huge bet he disliked Trump immensely, just like he disliked no brains Clarence Thomas.

She got demolished. Lets move on
Sure. Insults = Demolition, I guess, substance be damned. And, really, all of life is only about who can "demolish" others.

By the way, if Justice Ginsberg is truly what Mr. Trump claims she is, then why would Mr. Trump even bother to address what she had to say? Does he spend much time insulting those purported to have limited mental capacities in keeping with his ongoing efforts at diminishing other groups that aren't within his own demographics?

This means about as much as Alito shaking his head during the state of the union speak 6 or 7 years ago. Absolutely nothing.

Do you have an opinion on a supreme court justice involving herself in a presidential election? It is rather unprecedented.
Very unprecendented and it actually helps Trump more than hurt. Not sure what she was thinking.

I'm quite sure she doesn't believe that.

She clearly shouldn't have said what she said and she's being rightly criticized for having inserted herself into the political discourse in this manner. Still, it's not as though her opinion in this regard would be surprising to anyone who is remotely aware of the Supreme Court (nor, for that matter, would an opinion by Justice Alito or Justice Thomas hoping against the election of Hillary Clinton).

For whatever it's worth, any actual violation of that Code is the violation of an aspirational set of thoughts about judicial behavior that carries no mandatory penalties for its violation -- saying someone "should" do something is quite different than saying someone "must" do it.

Nevertheless, I'm sure also that those who disagree with her jurisprudence will (or already have chosen to) see this as a justification for urging her impeachment or removal otherwise from the Supreme Court.
Also, the Code, apparently, doesn't apply to Justices; only lower judges.

Again, how? All he did was insult her. Is that all anyone has to do to "demolish" someone else? Throw around a bunch of insults and claim victory?

Considering Hillary just got put on blast by the FBI director and still has a lead, that's pretty good.

The Bernie endorsement will give her a huge boost.

    Quid pro quo.

I can remember a couple of times I have cricized Democrats, both collectively, and specific Democrats.

If I take the time to find them, will you try to find instances where you have done the same for Republicans?

    (edit)
Further, if I do, what does that say about your preconceived notions about liberals in general or myself?

I would be a lot more willing to spend the time finding them, if I thought you might admit you erred, or were unfair.

Not after what Trump said about Bernie. He told Bernie supporters their idol sold out and he welcomes them with open arms

    Pretty much.

Although this means he is picking fights with the Congress (speaker of the house) and SCOTUS. The Speaker of the House has had to actively denounce some of Trumps more egregious racism.

Trumps business experience at the top of a pyramid doesn't seem to be helping him when there are two other co-equal branches of government.

Yeah. I am no fan of the Koch brothers, but the bloviating [on the part of Democrats about them] is annoying even dyed in the wool Democrats like myself.
Democrats bloviate about the Koch Brothers too much.

There's one, found within a quick search.

    Your turn. Quid pro quo.

If you can't find a place where you criticize Republicans, why is that?

You're right. She'll never publicly express an opinion on any subject ever again.

I guess the idea of being demolished means that someone insults you and everything in your life remains exactly as it had been before you were insulted.
