Atheism is not a religious belief. In fact, it's the exact opposite.

non-belief is a belief, it seems to be your credo, and even if it is totally lacking in spiritual stuff, the question about which it turns -- is there a God? -- is provincially a question of religion.

You're reaching badly. But regardless, I welcome honest and constructive criticism of my "religious orientation"... of not even having a religion.

Nothing needs be done about Islam. We can't outlaw a belief.

That's why it was the ultimate strawman question.

We can hope for reformation, tho.

You'll have to be more specific because racism still exists and is perfectly legal.

You guys are the ones crying about Muslims. It's why the question keeps getting asked what you want to do about Islam

Reject hadith. It's similar to the Lutheran reformation where Vatican writings were rejected as the word of God.

lets be more specific to the mid 1800's... slavery

what if southerners didnt want to reform?

this is a direct parallel to your "what if muslims dont want to reform" question

Murder is already against the law.

The Bible that Christians use says to kill gays too.

You're being obtuse. Slavery isn't the same thing as racism. There is racism all over this message board. No slavery.

And sidebar, the Bible gives a thumbs up on slavery.

Are Christians throwing gays off of buildings?

So what? It's what bible God commands his followers to do, but I don't see you demanding Christian reform.
