I have read the Koran the message is very very clear. Allah wants his followers to convert everyone to Islam if it takes violence so be it and if you get killed in trying to convert you are guaranteed a spot in paradise. That is Islam, anyone not seeing that is blind.
What can we do about all that violence? We could start by outlawing the religion outside the middle east. Don't bring that stuff here. Yep, just that simple. You want to be a Muslim, then keep your ass in the middle east.

I strongly disagree with the proposed Trump policy of banning Muslims for many many reasons, but he did say it would be "temporary" and only "until our politicians can figure out what the is going on"... whatever that means. That's never reported of course because it makes the remark less sensational.
The media is so totally uninterested in having a real discussion about this issue and so are our politicians.
Not much more can be really done right now outside of targeting terrorists and protecting the homeland. We could also not do business with countries that actively fund terrorists which target the US and their interests. It's not really complicated.
We could be doing A LOT more than that. We need to address the ultimate cause of all this. But more importantly, we need moderate Muslims to play a bigger role in fighting this plague of extremism from the inside. We'd probably be a lot better off if Sam Harris had been secretary of state during Clinton's reign.

I'll bite: what would make someone else's belief acceptable to you, you ing busybodies, and what's wrong with it now?
In corollary fashion, what do you y'all plan to do to make your religion more palatable to people who don't like it?
Do y'all take the critics of your belief as seriously as you wish to be taken, or is your bravery taken from the size of the horde clamoring that something is wrong with Muslims?
