Popped cut off Murrays minutes when he was well.
    Stop sniffing.
The majority of time he had to play Murray realistically Murray was injured.

    Murray got injured.
Please. It was determined before the season even started Murray wasn't going to be part of the playoffs this year. That's why he was never given serious burn.

He was available for 60 games this year.
Popped benched him after his kick ass Cleveland game.

The Spurs can make up for a lot of what Parker does with other players. I think what will hurt the most is that Parker and Kawhi were the only two players that could get their own shot consistently when a play broke and the shot clock was running down. That will hurt. So will Parker's dribble penetration that has somehow come back into his game during the playoffs.

Here is the thing - defensively this could actually work in our favor. It's a tough blow. I feel disadvantaged but not totally devastated... we were a good team all year without him playing well. Defensively it allows us to get better defenders on the floor. It's just weird because Parker has stepped up offensively in the playoffs. If someone can step up on offense we will actually be better overall. We definitely lose that second or third option in clutch time though.

Spurs D should improve w/ him out.

Spurs will miss the Tony Parker we've seen lately on the offensive end though.

Spurs still have a shot to win the series, slim shot, but still a shot.

He was giving us 22/3/4 Per-36 and his %'s across the board were incredible. 52.6FG%, 57.9 3P%, 100FT%

Second best player on our team these playoffs... against Conley and Beverley, too. Just our ing luck

We weren't beating the dubs regardless, especially with the way LMA is playing.

A lot. He was playing well, being very important for the team.
We still have a little chance, but it's clearly more difficult.

No its ing not. Patty still defends the harder assignments because Pop knows he can do it better than Parker.

Patty can't handle an increased workload.

Start him, but keep his minutes where they're at.

Hopefully Bev's ball pressure won't be too much for him for 20-25 minutes oppose to 30-35 minutes.

You watch the games like me right? Does Patty guard the tougher assignments? And why us that? I'm not forcing you to think like me. But there is a reason.

Murray showed ball hog tendencies early. Wanted to star in every game every minute he was in. Quickly proved he couldn't start as a rookie.
