Lets get back on topic if theres a nuke hot war between the 2 countries nobody would survive. Disagree? Why? Who would win and how?

Part of the problem with Russia is they cannot keep up economically. We raise the defensive tech stakes and they feel like they have to catch up. It's a losing proposition. Part of the reason we have even talked about defense systems is because MAD is a concrete idea. We don't need to scare them imo. The Russians are severely lacking in defensive capabilities. So they have every right to be scared in thinking we might think we can strike and survive. It behooves both countries to talk about this insanity. But Putin has decided to pull his Johnson out and wave it for the public. And there is no need to negotiate with a wild orange cheeto in office. Clinton clearly would be easier to negotiate with. There is no doubt about this. The whole Russian idea to attempt to produce chaos into the big dog democracy is the outcome. In nuclear talks, this is NOT to the Russians advantage. When the interference is made clear with a stable US WH this will become obvious. Unless Putin is really intent on driving his country into an economic abyss as he really is a selfish thug?

Is Putin really willing to drive a country with so much economic upside into a deeper hole... We will see.
