damn what a brutal honest statement

Wonder why american politicians would never say this to the public. Is the public too chicken to know the truth or are they just plain lying to them?

In one of a series of interviews with American film director Oliver Stone, the Russian president said he believed nobody would make it if an all-out nuclear conflict – also known as “hot war” – broke out.

Mr Stone asked Mr Putin: “In a hot war is the US dominant?”

The Russian leader replied: “I don’t think anyone would survive such a conflict.”

No country on earth would survive. American politicians should warn this to the public especially before they ask for more troops, missiles in europe/korea and more sanctions on russia.

The public should know the potential worse case scenario.

I havent heard any american liar, I mean politician say anything close to this. Well except for Dr Ron Paul, Tulsi and a couple other honest ones but they are marginalized from their parties.

It was American politicians that came up with the MAD strategy and formalized it.

    Reference:
work and statements by early 1960s United States Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.

Some military analysts (american) do concede Russias missile defenses are 4 generations ahead of US. Hopefully those analysts are wrong tbqh.

They said their S500 systems make the Thad and Aegis systems obsolete.

And they are working already on the S600.

I would not be surprised as Russia is doing a clearance sale of their S400 systems even selling to Erdopig

And currently the S400 are even superior to any US system currently.

Crazy even 3rd world countries are going to be aboe to have S400s

Here is a small extract from a military site. S500 basically sends F22s, F35s and B2s to the dustbin of military history

ussia S500 is ready for the aircraft hunting at 660000 feet.Russian aerospace forces Lt. Gen.Victor gumyonny said,"we expect very soon samples of S-500 new anti aircraft missile delivered soon". He said it will be the upper tier of russia's multi layered integrated air defence system.system is expected to be able to engage the targets at al ude of 125 miles or 660000 feet it means S 500 can target the ballistic missile in the space.he also said that first regiment will be deployed to protect Moscow and the central russia.this system will stop F22 and F35 from attacking the russia from high al ude .missile can target 10 ballistic missile at a time

Russian defense research industry is next to non-existent. The brain-drain that happened a couple of years ago took an entire generation of potential engineers and had them move to the West to make money. They are still there, and won't be going back to the crooked kleptocracy of the Russian Federation.

Quote mine all you like. There are three states within the US with larger economies than the entire country of Russia, with its slow moving demographic collapse.

The time where Russian technology can credibly challenge that of the West, or the US is past. Period.

Ironically, the challenges of re-creating research/engineering infrastructure is outlined by current US dependence on Russian large rocket engines. The US let their capabilities slide, and now are scrambling to bridge that gap.

    Pretty dumb post

USA defense spending just like their healthcare is overbloated and mostly waste

Just showing how much someone spends on something and therefore they are better is the stupidest thibg ever

Lets get back on topic if theres a nuke hot war between the 2 countries nobody would survive. Disagree? Why? Who would win and how?
