I've spent a lot of time in Chicago and I agree. I almost relocated there last year but couldn't stand the winters.

Went to KC and nearby cities like Lawrence. Really nice houses for cheap and there's decent entertainment. I live in SoCal tho so cheap for me might be average for texicans
Hong Kong
I went into a Best Buy in Topeka and saw at least 6 old guys in denim overalls and greasy ball caps, staring at monitors and TVs like they just walked out of the 40's.. lol
Favorite cities I have been to are in no particular order:
Austin
Nashville
San Diego
Denver
Dallas
Cities I would like to visit but haven't made the trip yet
Seattle
San Francisco
Madison
NYC
Boston
Biggest holes I have been to
Cincinnati
Memphis
Cleveland
St. Louis
Denver used to be the . It's turning into just . Half the city is slums now it seems.
whatever city avante is in would be the worst. children are never safe
Really? I just went this past fall and it still seemed pretty nice. Given I mostly stuck to downtown and then went to the touristy spots like Redrocks etc.
Have a buddy who lives there and hadn't heard him mention crime being to bad or anything. He doesn't make enough money to live in the nice part of town.
They probably are amazed at 4k Tbh
Fave Cities:
Sacramento- Spent two years worth of weekends traveling out of town and stayed in every town/city within 250 miles of ty Modesto, from the Bay to Clear Lake. Easily my favorite in NorCal. Not super-superficial and uppity like the Bay area and even much more affordable than Modesto as far as gas and food. Love the zoo, the restaurants, the fishing is great and I really like going to Old Sacramento.
Monterrey- Gorgeous beaches, always a gorgeous climate and far enough away from Silicon Valley to amazing.
Phoenix is cool
Austin is cool
San Antonio was cool about 25 years ago.
Cities that SUCK:
Los Angeles- Gross, disgusting hole of a city. Smog, smog, smog and smug, smug, smug. Why you'd pay a premium to live in a god damned polluted hole because other elitists do is beyond me.
San Francisco- aside from the food and climate, you couldn't find a tier place more loaded with pretentiousness. San Francisco. Been there hundreds of times, great for short visits with people who haven't been there before, but nothing else noteworthy about this hole.
Blythe- If you've been there, you needn't an explanation.
Denver- Great climate, but bo-ring as .
I agree with Los Angeles. Have some relatives that live there, so I have visited quite a few times. The beaches are nice, but drive down the road to San Diego and you get a much nicer city with better beaches as well and lower cost of living. Oh and did I mention more attractive women?
Nah, bruh. I mean Hong Kong in Tj
Edinburg
Laredo
El Paso
Miami is next door![]()

Ouray, CO
Ridgeway, CO
Ballard, WA
Manhattan Beach, CA
This asshole, thinking he's the only one with money and assets...
Nah, but housing prices differ drastically
San Francisco is one of my favorite cities, no .
Single family hole in California is like half a mill, thats why four families of Mexicans have to split the rent
Galveston, TX
4? Lol, ask Ernesto ( LkrFan) the number is about 7
I would love to live in San Diego if money wasn't an object. I can't justify buying a million dollar house there that would only cost me around 300-400k in Texas
I love living in Dallas, but if I didn't I'd move to Seattle.
