Maybe not, but makes a lot more sense than the comments above . . .

    (I don't think I've seen anyone get a "10" in potential from NBADraft.net.)

I think NBADraft.net automatically gives Duke players 10s in potential.

I believe in the Spurs system. Spurs can get Kyle serviceable. This guy has 7’3” wingspan and has bulked up considerably. Then again a trade to Lakers locks up LeBron signing. So that.

LeBron's like what 40? Who cares. By the time we're done picking our gifts and developing this guy/Murray we may even be contenders again

    Has he?

If he can get a decent set of handles ala KD at his size, how is that not a plus? Dude is on his way to becoming a match up nightmare.

    Dude isn't even 21 yet.

    Is he at full height?

He has potential. I want to see what the organization can do with it.

I know nothing about Ingram off the court, I think he's a good basketball player but every time I look at him I can't help but think of JR Smith and Michael Beasley...

Two talented players who couldn't get their together. Idk, don't judge a book by its cover I guess.

The scouring report that I glanced over said he was shy.

You'd rather have Fultz or Jaylen Brown? I'd take Ingram over either of those. Brown and Tatum both seem massively overrated right about now, and only Brown seems available anyway.

Watch the film and you will change your mind. Nothing special about Ingram. His defense is Forbes like. I was really impressed with Saric. He plays hard like Manu but as a PF. Don't take my word. Go look at the film.

He played really well against KD last season, He's going to surprise a lot of Spurs fans.

Yes, I’d rather have the option where we don’t help the Lakers build a Superteam. And as far as we know, Jaylen Brown isn’t even on the table right now.

Well, at least he'll be an upgrade from 2017-2018 Kawhi
Kawhi was way better in 9 games than Ingram has been at any point in his NBA career.

Yeah, Ingram's defense is pretty horrid. People focus on his long arms but it hasn't helped him any on that end.

The Heat's 2021 1st is the main asset in a trade with the Sixers tbh.

I like Brown, seems very Spurs-like, but I agree that Ingram's ceiling is higher. Tatum would be great but the Celtics aren't moving him. I think Ainge is being hesitant with Brown too.

No way I'm trading with the Lakers unless they offer something like Ingram+Kuzma+Ball(move him for another asset)+picks. They have to blow the Spurs away with their offer because they're at a disadvantage being the Spurs rivals.

They did give Curry an 11 in potential though.
