I say call them the San Antonio Saints for marketing reasons and rename them permanently if they go to LA. Then return the Saints name to NO.
If that happens, pull a Memphis, TN and just don't show. Cause if the city will be treated like that, then the city will never get any respect from the NFL.
Memphis had the headline "Our Dream, Their Team" when the then-Tennesee Oilers arrived.
I doubt Benson wants to go to LA. Will he say he is thinking about that in order to get what he wants out of SA? You better believe it.
As for team name, I'd say Saints fits San Antonio de Bexar just fine.
