Not true. The only edge the PS3 has over the Xbox 360 is the Graphics Core Clock Speed which is 550 Mhz for the PS3 and 500 Mhz for the Xbox 360. The System and Video memory in the Xbox is actually twice that of the PS3. The PS3 will have 256 MB of each while the Xbox will have 512 MB of each.

I believe ps3 is a good little bit more powerful than xbox360, but xbox360 will still have just as good graphics. If you've kept up on the news for ps3 that is.

Sony is being it's usual jerk about the API (they don't want just anyone making a PS game)...
You know like they are the only company to fight DVD format.. Compact Flash standard format.. memory formats etc...

They don't want customers to have universal things. .they want to sell you only Sony crap.

LOL that's stupid.. For one I was at the Austin game conf this week and talked to the Xbox staff. They are very nice and development is open to ANYONE!...

PS3 will be a good console. But they Sony people are assholes for the most part.

If you where not white.. go talk to the Xbox folks and tell them you want to make a game. They will tell you sure. PS3 staff will tell you to off poor man.

We all have our diff opnions. Frankly, I can't tell how you guys know which console is going to better when they haven't came out yet.

Something that is quite known is that you can never trust what is at all the game shows. A game that looks awesome at the Expo/Convention can suck when released.

All logic tells me I should wait at least a few months. I still have a pc that I built a year ago that plays newer games with all settings high and probably most new games with most settings turned up.

I should just save some $ and play my xbox and pc for awhile.

The Wal-Mart on Military has an Xbox 360 set up to play, there were a few people waiting for it so I didn't get a chance to try it out but the graphics were badass. I think they were playing the new Call of Duty. I am considering getting one but $400 is a lot to s out.

And it's (PS3) going to have a ed up version of Sony's digital rights management that's all over the news right now too.

There's even a rumor going around that the games will have a one time pad/key combo to it, so that you can only play it in the first box you put it in.

That's the place to get it when it comes out. Seriously. I couldn't find the PS2 or Xbox when they came out a few years ago anywhere in this city. Sure enough, there were many available on the southside.
