I Will Be Purchasing Both The Ps3 And The Xbox 360..... Freaking Yeah Buddy.......im What The Spainiards Would Call En Fuego
I was wonderin who's gettin a 360. I'm torn between wainting a few months or looking around at local stores to see if I can buy one on launch day.
If I didn't have a hdtv I would stay away and enjoy my xbox, pc, and ps2.
I definitely won't be the idiot buying them off ebay for too much.

It is called...Progressive Waiting. Wait a few months, and let the price drop down.
I'm willing to purchase one from somebody here that can find one in case I can't.
I'm hitting up every store in SM on launch day...screw class.
Xbox360 is gonna make me rich.....
I hope to have at least 1 le published on it by early 2007.
People will be able to browse games. Pick mine and pay for it. Then they get access to the game download with the internet connection.
Got to love that thing.
Edit: little note... Basically a high end pixel shader based PC video game today... that runs on DirectX 9.0 and Win 32 API's.. can be converted to run on xbox 360.. which is basically a gimped portable shader pc.

I wouldn't touch any product from MS if avoidable.
And the xbox360 is avoidable by sticking with current boxes until Sony's next gen box is out.
If I were a MS client, I'd avoid ANY super-complex, totally new MS product RUSHED to market. Can 360's firmware be upgraded on line? There will certainly be 10s or 100s of bugs.
I realize sanity and perspective don't apply to electronic gaming.
Rushed to market? Wake the up. It's been in development for 3 years.
But you want to sit around and wait for Sony's vaporware
Considering it has online capabilities(I think also internet), I am sure you can upgrade.
I'm going to get one as soon as it comes out and probably just play it for a week and let it sit there gathering dust
I still prefer PC Gaming myself so i'll try it out to see whats up.
I am planning on getting one for my son for Christmas, I don't think I'll get one at launch because I have some reservations and because I also won't be able to use it for a month anyhow.
I saw an issue with the 360 that I saw where it would take forever to load, I was told it was a specific issue with the demo units and I could certainly understand if there was an issue with a demo unit but I honestly don't think they differ much if at all from what we'll see at retail launch.
An Xbox 360 with a high def tv looks beautiful, and the second generation of games is going to be flat out awesome.
I mean I'm still impressed with Ninja Gaiden, the 360 will only be better.
i will be getting the two of them aswell, xbox360 and ps3
Can someone loan me $800 for the xbox 360 and some games? I swear I will pay you back when I get my student loans in January.
does anyone have the PSP???
I have one and I am not satisfied with it..i think it sucks a big fat elephant
I shall be purchasing one and calling in sick that day to play it nonstop for at least 15 hours, or until I pass out drunk, which ever comes first.
when u gettin, tell me i wait outside to jump yah
"It's been in development for 3 years."
People have been, for years, tired of finding/suffering from MS OS/Office bugs, and those products were in development for many years. Who says 3 years is enough? Maybe 4 or 5 years is what it takes. Software (firmware in consle terms) is NEVER done right the first time around.
A product isn't vaporware until its misses its launch date (or if it really doesn't exist).
I have never owned a game unit. Ever. Not even Atari/First Nintendo....never been into games.
Paging Mr Jim..Mr Jim. You have a telephone call on line 1.
I was thinking about doing it but my comp has started making funny noises, I'm too paranoid about that to spend money on a console, i'll wait til price drops
rich bas s
And what kind of glitches were all of us Xbox owners subjected to? The only one I can think of is the "glitch" of not getting the GTA line at the same time as PS2 owners.People have been, for years, tired of finding/suffering from MS OS/Office bugs, and those products were in development for many years. Who says 3 years is enough?
I somehow managed to find a way to survive that
Well the PS3 has had its launch date pushed back twice already, but I guess that doesn't count for our resident Sony cheerleader (boutons).A product isn't vaporware until its misses its launch date
I don't defend Sony. If Sony has missed the launch date, the box is vaporware.
Vaporware also applies to extremely premature new product announcements, which product often had the tendency never to be released, esp software in the 90s.
I'm not rich, my financial priori es are just really screw up.
I'm all over that .
