The party really needs to distance itself from this guy.
It's clear that the DNC sees the convention as an opportunity to target undecideds on the older spectrum. I can't say I see much benefit trying to cater to a younger, more left-leaning crowd, because they are probably not going to watch anyway. This is all about getting good soundbytes for the news (also something young people don't watch.)
