Her being dismissive of Khanna and Yang was particularly cringeworthy. Both of them are a lot more popular than she is, particularly Yang. Lauding the committee chairs for drafting the stimulus was also cringeworthy. People relying on food banks right now really don't want to hear about how "heroic" congressmen are for doing their ing job.
There was a power struggle for who would be house speaker in 2018 and hopefully there's a stronger one in 2020. Pelosi is too old and out of touch. The Democrats need to stop picking leaders based off which ones are good at hosting high dollar fundraising events. McConnell is great at fundraising too but he's also good at getting done.
There are some 50 years olds who are approaching senility and some 90 year olds who are sharp as a tack. Pelosi is a master politician - doesn't mean she's working in the interest of the American people - she just doesn't want Trump to get anything so close to the election.

Very few in DC are working for the American people. Most are working for their own portfolios, and they do that through networking in DC to collude with financial and power related benefits even after they leave office. You look at all the campaigning some do, spending their own money, millions sometimes, hundreds of millions, just to get a job. The job is about power for themselves, not about doing a job. You rarely see people who are flush with cash go job hunting IRL.
