Also, what legislature was "bypassed"? The legislatures that voted and approved their own election rules, including their election boards and instilled them with power?
This has gone to court and upheld. The fact that GOP legislatures got buyer's remorse after Old Joe beat the ever living out of Trump doesn't mean they can change the rules during the election.
