He exists a second time because Team Blue fumbled again by doing nothing to even try to make the common man's life feel better, just even a bit.
I'll always standby Trump existing as POTUS because the Blue team fumbled bad when all they had to do was give the "common man" the slightest leg up instead of pandering to fringe minorities and globalist pressures like Ukraine and Israel.
If the Biden Administration had given anything positive to give the "common man", they probably could have gotten Harris elected.
Neglect and apathy is how and why Trump is our next POTUS.
One thing that might've worked was not killing the revised child tax credit. It's ridiculous how easy it was to just end so much child poverty.
I think there's deeper American racial and misogynistic issues to add to why Trump is president as well.

I blame the neglect and apathy of the Biden Administration for not preventing this. It wasn't 10 million people swinging their votes because they all hated the idea of another colored POTUS, let alone a female colored POTUS. It was that they DID NOTHING WHEN THEY COULD.

Also, people liking whoever isn’t in charge isn’t surprising. The election said as much. In bency has been a burden to the candidates in the past two elections. People are looking for the kind of change that’s not going to happen, so the expectation is that this is going to continue happening.
Honestly the Dems would had been better off with Biden losing in 2020 that way the total collapse would’ve happened like it did under Bush II. There was never a doubt that the Dems were going to win in 08 no matter who the nominee was. But the Dems got greedy and arrogant after two successful Obama terms and went with Hillary when they should’ve just went with Bernie. Both times the Dems tried to force feed women at the wrong times they were both losses to Trump. I know people like harp on Bernie being too far left, but the right was painting Harris super far left too and it worked so I’m not sure what harm it would had been running Bernie. It seemed when the party pretty much pushed Hillary through in 2016 that was the moment that I recognized that the party was in trouble. They weren’t expecting Obama to make the splash that he did, and imo that’s what really screwed up their plans. They were intent on pushing Hillary through in 2016 no matter who the other candidates were and no matter how much baggage she had

on the contrary, with speech codes, new restrictions on women and pedagogy, it is the Red team that are the shrill, inflexible iden arians.
What people want is manufacturing and high paying jobs back in the US, while still enjoying the American standard of living, cheap prices, benefits, etc. Not only those things are incompatible among themselves, it’s a ship that sailed a long time ago.
Obviously, the political demagogues are still going to promise that, and blame things like immigrants taking the jobs Americans simply don’t want to do, much less at what they’re getting paid to do it.
At some point people will have to accept this is the best economy we’re going to get, with solid annual growth and low inflation. Until then, we’re just going to continue to see the flip flop in power.
Don’t forget Trump also started with a full red Congress in 2016.
