Well if he doesn't, we'll either have Vance or a special primary, and Trump will be a martyr, so they're not going to nominate a Nikki Haley/Chris Christie type candidate.... so I would say America is in good/conservative hands long term, I think.
Establishmentarian GOP side of the party seems to be losing grip big time and fading into obscurity. Either they comply or they get primaried-the- -out, and they know it. Cornyn, Ernst, Tillis, etc. all eyes are on you. And we've gotta get rid of Murkowski at all costs in 2028 if she runs again. Unlike with Maine and Susan Collins, Murkowski simply does not represent the voting interests of the strong majority opinion of the state she "represents".
