Malachi Flynn had four NBA seasons under his belt yet spent last season in Austin.
Don't mind the signing as the 14th man on the roster tbh. Seems like he's better than Branham.
Klutch is helping the Spurs. That's a good thing. With LeBron being out of the league soon, it's smart on their part to get close to Wemby. I don't mind them routing players and assistants to our team.

Thought it would be more of a true "laser" than him, who is closer to a 3 and D guard/wing.
He's fine for a deep bench player though and typical Spurs, who even when they finally sign a shooter, don't exactly prioritize shooting, if that makes sense.
Flynn was never on the regular season roster as a full or a two-way player.
I'd be a little surprised if this is more than a training camp contract.
Explains why Pop wanted him tbh.
This feels like the Spurs doing a favor for Kerr like when Bud signed Forbes when he was with the Bucks.
Help? May I ask for clarification how Lindy signing with the Spurs is help? I’m not sure what they’re doing with the Lakers classifies as such and is good precedent. All the agency cares about is their longevity and optimal contracts for their players. Would really love for them to stay AWAY from Wemby as much as possible.
lol. That's f#cked up. He said he wouldn't take a guilt free hall pass and that he wants only one wife (her), and then she was immediately ready to take multiple hall passes. I feel bad for that dude. Barry Sanders, I didn't even think she'd know who he was.
what the . That poor guy
pour one out for my guy tbh
Would have rather brought Lonnie Walker back tbh
The Spurs signed Jaren Jackson back in 96 and he was the true definition of a journeyman. He stuck around for four years and ended up being important during our championship run. Lindy likely won’t amount to anything in SA but these guys that scratch and claw to stay in the league are appreciated with winning cultures.
So he can whine about his playing time again?
I guess I would trust the FO to bring another Danny Green or Bruce Bowen who spent time with other teams before finding a home with the Spurs.
Personally I thought they are thin in the SF position, with Vassell really more of a SG. Keldon defensive suspect, and Bryant still wet behind the ears. But Lindy 6’10 reach people say he defends more like a SF than guards.
Would have rather signed Malachi Flynn, but I'm not gonna stress too much over the guy taking over Branham's towel waiver spot
Flynn already signed with a Turkish club.
Brandon Boston Jr. is a free agent who actually played pretty decently last season.
I'd rather have Maxime Raynaud.
Do we know if his contract is guaranteed ?
It seems Spurs won't add a shooting microwave scorer at the end of the bench. I thought it would help them but maybe Spurs don't want to reduce even more Keldon's role with the team.
With McLaughlin and Waters at the end of their bench, Spurs will have a couple of pure role players who should do their job, but, who won't certainly put pressure on the rest of the rotation to take playing time and offensive touches from them.
I kept an eye on Brandon Boston Jr. part way through last season. He was playing well from what I saw (I thought the Spurs may have made a mistake letting him go?). How did he finish the season? Surprised if he's still a free agent. Thought he might have gotten a contract with NO.
Keeping expectations realistic but this guy is a shooter. Was also hoping for Coffey caliber players like others here but I think it's a matter of anyone better or more established might not want to accept such a limited role. Waters III will likely rarely even dress out.
Feels like a quid pro quo with Klutch, signing one of their clients in exchange for all the services they’ve provided over the years.
Dude just got cucked by future wife on camera without sex... yet.
I don't look forward to his future with her.
"That's crazy"
