When I first saw the le of this thread I wondered if it was going to be a mom from my daughter's school. We call her "Hooker Mom". She showed up for Parent/Teacher night and all the moms and dads just about fell out of their seats. She walked in in her ed heels, tights jeans, overly tanned body, bleached fried hair with bad roots. She had on way too much makeup, her hair was teased and messed up like she just got out of bed. She had a boob job and was wearing a really low cut tank thingy. She was skinny but her arms were saggy from too many years of tanning. :vomit

when my youngest was in kinder, we used to call this one lady stripper mom (her daughter was in my son's class). She had a total model body but she wasn't cute. She'd pick her kid up in daisy dukes and the cleavage hanging out.

Turns out she was a Russian Mail Order bride. I think she eventually figured out that no one elsed dressed like that when they picked up their kids. I talked to her once at a bday party and she barely spoke English. I remember her saying that she really missed Russia. I guess she decided to move back, because her daughter wasn't at school the next year.

I have a sister-in-law like that. She's almost 40 but dresses like she is 18, a ty 18. She uses the fake-n-bake tanning bed every day to the point that her skin is now looking leathery. She's had her lips done, her boobs done, her teeth done, had the permanent makeup tatoos, her hair is dyed jet black. She lives in the gym, and should look good, but actually just looks odd. When she was 22 she was pretty attractive, but has tried so hard to hold onto her youth that now she is just getting a little scary looking. The sad part is that she has spent tens of thousands of dollars creating this image of hers. I call it the Michael Jackson Effect.

Oh that's exactly what it is. Some people cannot understand aging gracefully. You are supposed to work with what you have now and not try to bring back what you had twenty some odd years ago. That's just gross and weird.
