I'm just looking back on 2005... I haven't made my resolutions list yet.
Don't forget your hair makeover!![]()
A Great 2005 for me! :
*year starts with my 6 yr wedding anniversary!
*got preggo on the 1st try with baby #2
*in March my younger brother has been seizure free for 2 months and gets to come to SA to spend spring break with me!
*Went to 2 Spurs home games for free and won the Coyote Races (2 round trip southwest airline tickets) even while battling horrific mornign sickness. (i barfed beofre and after the race... they are lucky i didin;t barf in the costume)
*April I met my personal goal of breastfeeding Isabella untill 1 yr. (she weaned herself the next month)
*Astroworld in June.... little did i know it would be my last trip there ever. Good thing it was great!!
*Spurs win 3rd NBA championship!
*Watching my daughter change from a baby into a toddler.... wow! When she called her grandmother on speed dial I knew there was no going back.
*October was the BEST month! Birth of my 2nd daughter!!! Eloisa Genevieve.. named for her great-grandmother who has passed and for her great-Aunt who never had children of her own. 6lbs 10 ounces. She nursed like a champ right off the bat.
Isabella got all 4 back molars at once in one horrific week.
Emo got hired at Toyota.
*Taught my sister how to drive automatic and stick shift. Secretly tore apart my moms office and re-organized it while she was at work.
*Secretly tore apart my mother-in-laws nasty kitchen and cleaned it while she was out shopping. (these 2 things I've been dyign to do for years !)
* year ends with me turning a quarter century.
- Visiting the beautiful city of New York (and realizing I might want to live there)
- My Spurs winning their 3rd championship (and realizing how lucky I am to have witnessed all 3)
- Loving the college experience
- Broke off bonds with people who brought my life no good
- Built a couple very dear friendships
- Saved the life of a baby bird
- Saying goodbye to my teenage years
- Seeing a dear friend finally get married (her happiness was long overdue)
- Living, laughing, and sharing some really great moments with people I love
I hope to leave 2005 a little wiser, smarter, and more appreciative... And to learn from my mistakes in order to make 2006 a year to remember.

What are some of the best things that happened to you or that you experienced this past year?
Chicago 2nd City.
Quit my Engineering Job.
Went to LA.
Brought Wifey with me.
Stopped Smoking Weed.
Quit drinking alcohol...yes again.
Got a baby on the way.
Am now a follower of JC.
Lost all my insecurities.
Found my balls.
Starting my new career path.
Renewing old friendships.
And another Spurs le, and,
crossing fingers for a Redskins playoff birth.
2005 has been the best year of my life.
And rightfully so.
Each day is.![]()
I like this thread.
In order of occurence (somewhat):
01. Finding a job in my field (even though it's at a standstill at this moment, it was still very exciting)
02. Dancing, drinking, and hanging out with 2 of the best girlfriends ever for practically every weekend for 4 months straight (until 1 of said girlfriends was sent off to bootcamp-- sad, sad day)
03. Falling in love with my boyfriend (which happens moreso every day)
04. Saying o to a beautiful niece (that makes me an Aunt now!)
05. Austin City Limits Festival (has been a highlight of my year for the last 3 years now)
