When did I imply that?
At least he did not accuse Magic of doing anything on the down-low.
When did I imply that?
I apologize, did not try to make it seem like you were implying that, just
Pointing out the reality that personal lives and basketball lives are connected. We shouldn't pick and choose when and against who we apply those rules to.
When you said the personal needs to be kept from the professional.
"Basketball should be separate from personal life"
I think it was a low blow. But mouths like Barkley and Magic believe they have a free pass because they are legands and members of the media. It's that whole pot/kettle/black argument. They may not be identical, but the intent behind each situation is similer.
people need to realize artest don't give a . much like myself. when we are attacked? we can bite back. and hard. so it's at other's risk. be critical and be prepared.![]()
You are missing the point.
Think "detriment to the team" AND hypocrisy. Maybe basketball and personal life are not so separate afterall.
10 ... 9 .... 8 .... 7 ... 6 ... .....
It's probably just my anti-Artest bias, but I still think there's some lines you just don't cross.
But I suppose you're right, can't do anything about it there'll always be idiots in the NBA
Has Marv Albert ever called Kobe a sexual deviant on national tv??? I'm pretty sure Kobe would have a decent comeback.
magic adultery did not make him a bad teammate. almost everything artest has ever gone public saying has. artest has no base to make this kind of comparison. he is a stupid child, and struck out in a petty way. magic was a team leader before and after he commited adultery. the lack of public education about how aids is contracted and spread is what caused a panic about his condition. anyone who says magic saying this makes him a hypocrite has the sloping skull of a neanderthal and the intellect of a troglodyte.
magic drew 1st blood. all is fair in love and war.
artest would be an awesome Spur. so many in here would be online ordering an Artest jersey in silver and black, it would make your head spin. bandwagon is as bandwagon does. believe that.![]()
war? maybe you need to pull out a dictionary. artest will never be a spur because who he is makes him ineligible to be a spur.

any other requests mr. majors?![]()
Too bad? Are you serious?
nice, so you have found out a blatant misuse of the 2nd variant definition of a word. i suppose you found alanis morisette's song to be the height of irony as well.
whatever dude. Artest is the man. hate as you will. no sweat off my balls.![]()
No, he just did what you asked him to
Ok, we know about the camera incident in MSG, and the battle in the palace, request for time off, and the trade request, and we know Artest is a nut, ok headcase, ok mental. But alot of athletes, let alone millionaires are also pretty screwed up.
But I am curious, what other interior problems has he caused the Pacers? Missing team flights? late for practice? fighting? punching teammates? drugs? murder?
I'm not condoning artest as a spur, but I would like to compare it to other players and their disgressions.
enough to get keyshawned until he is traded. good enough?
^^^ Not really, the first news I had heard about him this year in particular was the trade request, and he gets benched for it. Must have been something that led to this, wondering if I missed it.
ulative effect. they stood behind him last season, this one he asks to be traded. in doing so he publically rips the coach. on pti there was something new and stupid he did every week since the season began.
If Magic wanna talk sheyit, Magic gon' get sheyit.
Not just for the Pacers, but in his NBA career, he's missed/been late for practices, he has fought with teammates, he destroyed the weight room in Chicago, threw balls at the heads of his teammates in the lockerroom, and a mul ude of other things. But I am curious, what other interior problems has he caused the Pacers? Missing team flights? late for practice? fighting? punching teammates? drugs? murder?

But he hasn't killed anyone that we know of![]()
would you guys take Kobe right now if the Spurs could get him for TP and Rasho with throwins?
just curious.
cuz i wonder how many would overlook an 'alleged' rape due to the glow of a 60 point game.
Who cares about Goldigger kate Faber, that KOBE did not rape? Any team in the NBA would take KOBE if the price is right. Maybe those two but definitly no throw ins.
