Emo is a type of music listened to by college kids
The guy on CSI,(grissom, I think) had Menier's disease a couple of seasons back and he finally had surgery to correct it. They did a bunch of episodes on it. They also mentioned that it could be heriditary. Is there anyone else in his family with hearing problems?

It's her husband's screen name in this forum..although he rarely posts under it.
I'll say a prayer for him. I'm sorry to read about this and hope the very best for ya'll as you deal with everything.
Sorry to hear that. I don't know what I would do if I lost my hearing.
I'm sorry about your husband, Obiwan. Hopefully they'll find something that helps soon, medicine is moving at the speed of light.
Actually it's his real name... or his real nickname since he was 3. (his real name is worse)
his forum name is Spursy.
Oh, crap.....that's right. I was going to go back and check but I got called out of my office.See...he should post more.

whats really annoying is when he's loking at the forum under my name and then comes and tells me "hey! you know what you should put?......"
and I'm like thats why you have your own screen name.. if you want to post that then do it!![]()
Sorry Obi! I sure hope there's something they can do to make it better.

Hang in there. And take some solace in the fact that it isn't life threatening. At the very worst, your family will have to adapt. But as others have said, at the current speed of advancement, it might be treatable and/or curable before you know it.
