LOL!! All you're proving is that you can't make a point without name calling! Why don't you be a man.......oops, or a women, and make your point without the name calling?
Damn, and I wasn't expecting to be wearing the budgie-smugglers. I'll keep wearing the cap, though.

It's really not just ESPN... or even sports.
ESPN is just one example of 24-hour News Programming without 24 hours worth of news.
Years ago, my sister-in-law began calling CNN "Continuous Negative News." That pretty much sums up all of those kinds of channels. Regardless of topic. It's negative or, quite simply, not news-worthy.
Dude, just let it go! you're not in a postion to make a change to the rules so why even bother with this type of dumb ass thread? However, I do believe I did make my point, but, In case you don't know....... All this TD celebration antics started with "Billy white shoes Johnson" back in the day, and took off from there. The NFL banned the celebrations for a season and even gave out 15 yard penalties for the extra shake. The players, coaches and fans backlashed against it and that's why it is what it is today. Back in the day, the players were calling the N.F.L. the (No Fun League) and even theaten to boycott games. There was even talk of taking their services to Canada and even a new league if the NFL didn't change that rule. Can you imagine America's best players playing in the CFL because of something as stupid as a schimmy or shake after a score? The rules committee listened and the TD celebrations were allowed the following year. There you go!
