stupid TD celebrations!! I know people want to see them, and that's a shame. Clinton Portis doing Chad Johnson's CPR routine?? Football is just not football anymore, it's more a circus then anything else. Why can't they just score and move on? And by the way, not to make this a black or white issue, but why are all the TD celebrations done by black players?

Well the League is probably around 75-80 percent African American. And at the WR position, I bet that number jumps to about 90-95%

I love the celebrations. Its entertainment, not some sacred ritual. Let them have some fun and be showmans.

    Clinton lost his marbles.

Nope, it doesn't bother me, but I forgot in this day and age, we can't make an observation on certain sensitive issues.

Unfortunately you're right. It has become entertainment. I remember when it was a game called Pro Football, the player would score and either throw the ball to the ground or give it up to the ref. The attention was on the game, not the celebrations. I guess the younger generation likes the entertainment game not a football game.

Was that the guy who did a backflip into the endzone from the one yard line?

Seems to me like he's upset that there isn't that many white running backs or wide receivers in the game. I remember Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, and Steve Young doing there little dance when they scored on a scramble. Did it bother you back then? Or is this a black/white issue to you? I really don't see the reason why you had to play the race card.

Hmm! Apparently you're not reading or you're skipping post #8. Doing a "little dance" is way different then trying to pump life into a football, or hump a goalpost, or taking out a Sharpie, or ..........

Your first mistake? You didn't read my first post. Second mistake? Didn't read my #8 post. Third mistake? You can't see!!!

I don't really see how these are much more distracting or offensive than doing a dance in the end zone, but to each his own...

I do wonder if they would be as controversial without ESPN devoting hours a day on TV and Radio to the exercise of dissecting a touchdown celebration and analyzing whether it was appropriate or not.

ESPN is just plain getting on my nerves of late. Who gives a crap about the celebration??? I care about the TD. If some guy wants to do a backflip or sign the damn ball, who cares? The 6 points are the real concern.

    OK, I'll ask.

What is the significance of the cricket picture?

At least you knew what that damned picture was. I had no clue.
