What kind of game are you working on?
Yea I asked them for a development kit (sony) and they said too bad. I am not rich or established enough. But I got X360 kit setup for 10 grand (let's me publish my game on the X360 online buy thing).

How am I Sony Fanboy? I just don't like the X-BOX. And whenever something gets posted about video games Box Boys quickley go around yelling X-BOX IS BETTER!!! I already posted why I don't like the X-BOX. I own a 64, GC, and DS, PS2, PSX.

I would say Doom 3 or Quake 4 for the X-BOX.
Doom3 is a great line too, haven't played Q4 yet (am waiting to get my hands on a 360).

But because of your limited view of the videogame market, you've missed out on a lot of good games: Dead or Alive, Forza, Halo, KOTOR, Morrowind, PGR...etc. Your loss. You have fun waiting for the PS3, while I'm waiting, I have the 360 to keep me happy for the meantime.
At least you guys actually have money to spend on these kinda things!
Haven't tried out Doom yet, but I'm planning on it. I've just been busy playing all the puzzle and old school games on the Xbox Live arcade.
FYI: Target is your best bet if you're still waiting on a console. If you're not in the top 10 of preorders, Gamestop and EB Games are idiots when it comes to any preorders beyond that. Best Buy and their bundle crap and second launch BS are idiots too.
I have downloaded KOTOR couldn't play too boring. I bought Morrowind looks great and fun I just don't have the time to play it. And once again: I don't just like PS2. Can't you read?
I still have my original playstation and playstation 2. Both work fine and that is good enough for me. That is why I will be buying the PS3. I think Sony has it figured out though I did like my Sega back in the day.
But the main reason I will be sticking with the PS3 is because I hate the design of the XBox controller. That is pretty shallow. I know. But I hate learning to use a different type of controller like when the Super Nintendo came out. That is why I didn't buy one.

shooters on PC are the best
Morrowind and KOTOR aren't an Xbox exclusives there on PC as well.
Between a PS2 and a PC I currently have all the PS2 exlusives and all the worthwhile Xbox games on PC (Halo, KOTOR, Fable)
And slayermin your not the only one who doesn't like that controller, actually its usable I just dont think its as nice as the PS2 one.
Anyway to each there own, Xbox seems to have PS2s measure when it comes to shooters, which are best on PC, but otherwise the PS2 has it pegged IMO.
Overall best gaming machine.... PC.
I'm sure I'll have fun buying all three and reaping all the benefits.

KOTOR was a great game. I guess you're a "minute-man" when it comes to games. My guess is that you have a short attention span. I prefer games that take a while to beat and enjoy, it makes the ending and the money spent more rewarding.

I'm not bragging, I'm just someone who enjoys all aspects of my hobby(gaming). Why should I stick to one company? I've owned all the consoles since the mid-80's with the exception of the oddballs(Jaquar/Virtual Boy).
It would of sucked to be a Nintendo fanboy back then, when Madden was blowing up on Sega, and vice versa with Super Tecmo Bowl. I lost alot of summer days on that game!

KOTOR is a single player RPG. I don't like single player RPGs' and no I didn't miss the game of the millenium because I didn't play Knights of the Old Republic. I do like long games because I don't wanna finish a game in 6-8 hours, KOTOR isn't built like an old school RPG. The only RPGs' I play are old school ones that take 60+ hours to complete. (i.e FFVII(best RPG of all time), Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Parasite Eve(short, but good), FFVI, etc)
I don't even know my I bought a GC, ing wanted to play RE4 an BAM it comes out on the PS2.
Not even I would say I loved Microsoft, but I applaud your admiration.
Broaden your horizons, that's all I have to say. Don't limit yourself, just because "everyone" is pushing the Xbox as the best ever, doesn't mean you have to miss out based on their overhyping of a system. Talk about negative peer pressure! Like the PS2 wasn't shoved down peoples throats!
The next FF is coming out on 360, but my guess is that you'll wait for it on PS3 based on your loyalty, huh?

Seriously, who can resist buying every Nintendo console, I like playing the latest Mario game, but when Pokemon 12 and Mario Party 25 along with Donkey Kong with included congas makes up the software library, I feel left out of their "target" audience.

And how long does it take someone to get used to a new controller anyways? If I remember right, I was comfortable with the controller a few days after the original Xbox launch.

You guys have been saying this entire thread Sony doesnt have a box to show off yet and so you wont pay them a moments notice when they release info about it. Disregarding it because they have yet to show it anywhere....
So why the isnt the same true for the controller, I agree looks ugly as but its still a prototype that they haven't even shown along with a box. I'd hardly take that as an example of what the end product will look like. Chances are its backwards compatable anyway. I'll just use my DSII.

The controller didn't make an appearance at the show, so hopefully they've gone back to the drawing board with that, if not hopefully there will be adapters to use the PS2 controllers with the PS3.
Comparing the 360 to the Dreamcast, now I know you're hopeless.
As for PCs, I never said they were too expensive, just playing a $400 console on a HDTV is much better than playing a $4000 PC on a small(in comparison) monitor. Using a keyboard and mouse would remind me to much of work.I'd rather have my laptop loaded with my music software(Acid/Reason/Rebirth) than PC games. Having to install new video cards, updates, patches would be too much of a hassle for me just to play a game. I guess I'll just refer to myself as a "console gamer" from this point forward.
FYI: If E20 would have just said "I've played Xbox before, but I just didn't like it" then that would have came across better. I like the motto, "don't knock it, till you try it."
